This contract comprised the design of steelwork connections, treatment, supply and installation of steelwork to Manchester United Football Club’s £12 million extension to their impressive training facility at Carrington.

Leach Structural Steelwork were also tasked with the procurement and installation of 1500m2 of metal deck flooring, 600m2 of pre cast concrete floor units, pre cast concrete staircases and 100m2 of open type flooring. 

The works included the extension to the east elevation of the main training complex, construction of a two storey building to form a visitors centre, construction of a single storey building to form a grounds team and parent spectator facility and construction of a new entrance and security lodge. The new visitors centre which overlooks the first team training pitch is extensively architectural in its nature and includes 12 Nr feature external columns that were manufactured and installed by Leach Structural Steelwork's own operatives.
